Terry Hutchings, M.Ed.

Mrs. Terry Hutchings earned a B.S. and M.Ed. from Southwest Texas State University. She is a member of the Texas Speech-Language and Hearing Association, the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and Special Interest Groups for Dysphagia and Administration and Supervision, and is on the Clinical Practice Committee of the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice. Mrs. Hutchings has over 33 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, working with both pediatric and adult populations in clinical and managerial roles. Mrs. Hutchings was the Chief Executive Officer of THERAPY 2000, one of the largest pediatric home health agencies in Texas and oversaw the overall operations of the company, including all aspects of company expansion. Prior to joining THERAPY 2000, Mrs. Hutchings worked as Research Director at Psychological Corporation (DBA Pearson) in the development of assessments for speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists. These assessments include the Minnesota Handwriting Assessment, Boehm 3, Boehm 3 Preschool, Computerized Articulation and Phonology Evaluation System (CAPES), Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals Preschool-2 (CELF Preschool-2), and assisted with the development of Preschool Language Scales-4 (PLS-4), Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals-4 (CELF-4), and Cognitive Linguistic Quick Test (CLQT).
